Visitors that have travelled a long distance may want to take in a little more of what East Anglia has to offer.  If this is the case then a must see will be the famous historic university City of Cambridge.  Famous world wide, some of the views along the backs, are internationally recognised.  Only about 1¼ hour journey (approx. 70 miles) from Norwich on the A11/A14, come off at J35 (A1303), signposted to Airport, then take the Newmarket Rd Park & Ride bus directly into the city centre from opposite the Airport.

Walk along the river, or better still hire a punt to see the more famous of the 31 colleges, King’s college (famous for it’s chapel and choir at Christmas, Trinity college, where Sir Isaac Newton, and many other famous people (including prince Charles) studied, St John’s College, and the Round Church (one of only 4 in the country).  Alternatively, the open-top bus tour does the whole of Cambridge on a whistle-stop excursion.  A day out in Cambridge will guarantee to make you want to visit for longer.
